For all my life, I have wanted to capture and preserve the beauty in the natural world around me. I even remember how, as a child, I would take our family collie into the woods or by a stream, pose him, and photograph him with my dad's 35mm film camera. Growing up in Michigan, I have always loved the lakeshore, its lighthouses, and its glorious sunsets, and those scenes have been regular subjects for my camera.

In recent years, I have begun expanding my horizons through frequent travel to National Parks and other amazing wild and scenic spaces. The more I explore, the more I fall in love with the incredible variety of breathtaking landscapes this world holds. Always in pursuit of excellence in my work, I regularly seek mentorship and advice from some of the best nature and landscape photographers in the business, and I am deeply grateful for their influence on my art. 

Landscape photography has always been my first love, but I also have a special place in my heart for portrait work, especially with high school seniors. Each year, June through October, you will find me working with some amazing young men and women as they prepare to embark on the next stage of their life’s journey. I am also a mother of two pretty special kiddos, an avid reader, and a huge foodie and wine connoisseur. On weekends, you can usually find me cooking up a new recipe and spending time laughing and sharing stories with friends and family around the table.
